Fastball, known for their songs “The Way” and “Out of My Head,” have returned with a new album titled “Step Into Light”. An exotic melody accompanies a desert caravan moving beneath a blazing sun. The sound of waves wash against a pristine South American beach. A lone flamenco guitar echoes through the cobbled streets of old Sevilla. And a lilting three quarter time rhythm conjures images of the rolling green hills of Ireland. The music is cinema. It is sound given shape and color. This is the music of Incendio.

Katie Frank writes, plays, and sings her own songs. An Elizabethtown native, she and her band perform rock songs of all levels.

Ian Foster, native of Newfoundland, Canada, is a storyteller. That music is the way he tells those stories only makes the telling richer still. Modern folk wrapped in Canadiana, Ian’s writing style belies a love of history, home and the humble tale. CBC’s Bob Mersereau described him as being “a fine example of what a 21st century folk performer should be doing.”

Southern Avenue

Southern Avenue is a Memphis street that runs from the easternmost part of the city limits all the way to Soulsville, the original home of Stax Records. Southern Avenue is also the name of a fiery young Memphis quintet that embodies its home city’s soul, blues and gospel traditions, while adding a youthful spirit and dynamic energy all their own. Their debut album is a breath of fresh air with its own unique blend of gospel – tinged R&B vocals, roots/blues-based guitar work and soul-inspired songwriting.

In late 2012, a mom, a teacher, and a waitress gathered in a small Philadelphia apartment specifically to hear what their voices might sound like when joined together in three part harmony. By the end of the night, Maren Sharrow, Jess McDowell, and Meaghan Kyle knew they had something special in the effortless way their three very different voices blended together in a harmony that was both timeless and exciting. No Good Sister was born.
