2016 Town Center Recap

2016 was a Big year for Eagleview Town Center! We welcomed new restaurants, opened brand new apartments, enjoyed seeing you all rock out at the concerts and watched Town Center come to life with seasonal festivals. Thank you for being a part of the Town Center's busy 2016 year! We can't wait to see what 2017 brings.

The Expansion of Town Center

We watched the expansion of Eagleview Town Center as a second retail building was constructed. You patiently waited for us to announce the addition of three new restaurants - Al Pastor, Bella Vista and Suburban Restaurant and Beer Garden!

We brought big city flavor to Eagleview Town Center as our first two of restaurants, Al Pastor and Bella Vista, opened in December 2016! We are thrilled to introduce modern Mexican flavors and an authentic Italian restaurant to local residents.

Another new addition to the Town Center this year was Blue Buddha Studio. Blue Buddha offers different types of massage therapy, skin care and yoga classes. (We had fun trying out the Aerial Yoga class!) View the description of all services at bluebuddhastudio.com

Passion Cycles also opened its doors in 2016 with Honking classes on the Incumbent Cycle. If you'd like to learn more about the Honking classes, visit passioncycles.net

Grand Opening of Meridian at Eagleview

Eagleview Town Center also welcomed a beautiful brand new 55&up luxury apartment building, Meridian at Eagleview, in September 2016. Meridian is the largest building Hankin Group has built thus far, with 136 luxury apartments and state-of-the-art amenities including an indoor pool, fitness center, putting green courtyard and indoor golf simulator, just to name a few. Residents of Meridian can walk to everything the Town Center offers.  If you are interested in a tour, contact Meridian at Eagleview today at 484-873-8110.

Summer Event Highlights:

We loved rocking out to amazing bands and artists like Quinn Sullivan, Liz Vice, Cookie Rabinowitz and Ben Arnold & The 48-Hour Orchestra under cotton candy skies like this one!

Remember the yellow buckets walking around with raffle tickets during the concerts? Because of your donations, you've helped to raise over $15,000 for Alex's Lemonade Stand!! All of the volunteers of Alex's Lemonade Stand offer a sincere Thank You!

And we couldn't forget about our movie night characters! Everyone enjoyed the special appearances by Stuart the Minion and Cinderella this year.  Wonder who will be here next year!

Festival Fun

Our two 2016 festivals, CRAFTED and Falling Leaf Fest, were a huge hit! We enjoyed a gorgeous summer day at this year's CRAFTED festival and welcomed more vendors than ever! Patrons enjoyed live music and delicious food while they perused through tents filled with pottery, jewelry, art, furniture, and more.

The Falling Leaf Fest in October was also a huge success! This year, we brought in tons of talent from performers of local schools, along with a craft market, food, and kids activities. For the full recap, visit the Falling Leaf Fest blog post here.

Talk of Town Center

Our Town Center businesses are the heart & soul of Eagleview. If you're subscribed to our bi-weekly newsletter, The Eagleview Beat, you know about how special these small businesses are.  Let's take a look back at some of the highlights of 2016:

Wellington Square Bookshop won Philly Mag's "Best of Philly 2016"  Best Indie bookstore, and was also thrilled to be a Daily Local News Readers Choice winner this year! Stop in our award-winning bookshop to grab a gourmet cup of coffee and your favorite classic novel.

Gemini Hair Design Studio & Spa was excited to expand their staff and services. Make your next appointment a one-stop-shop for hair, nails, skin care, and more. Visit geminihairdesignstudiospa.com to see all of the services offered.

This year, our Eagleview Elf, Glen, was so excited to try Rita's for the first time!  Owner Debbie Pearce is excited that you don't have to wait until it gets warm to have your favorite water ice!

Also another Daily Local Reader's Choice winner is the Eagleview Farmers Market that brings the tree grove alive every Thursday from May - November.  Our Farmers Market brings the tree grove to life with fresh food, artisan goods & more. This year the Farmers Market expanded their list of vendors and also added the Loyal 2 Local program for a chance to be a winner throughout the season. For the first time this year, the fm held an outdoor Christmas Market too! The Farmers Market is now indoors for the season, held every other Thursday in Chester County Food Bank.

Our tree lighting this year was the biggest one we've had yet! Highlighting live performances and gourmet hot chocolate served by someone we will be seeing a lot of in 2017!

And last but not least, we hope you are enjoying our new website! Visit here frequently for updates and announcements to keep your calendar full!
