April 2 - An Evening of Stories! Beginning at 5:30 we partner with Chesterbrook Academy teachers to share some favorite stories. Geared to children 6 & under.
Storytime Every Tuesday at 10:00 stories and a cookie.
Writer's Groups - Join one of the writers' groups that meets regularly at the Bookshop!
The Scribblers meet April 5th at 1:00 and April 12th at 1:30
The Women's Writing Circle meets April 12th from 9-11:30
April 12th - Paul Tobacco Cashman will be here from 12-1:30pm discussing Native American sacred sites and his book The Circle of Lenapehoking.
April 13th - Julia Rose Grey will be here to sign Cry Before Supper
April 15th - Children's author Ritu Goyal will be here at 10am signing her book Never Live - Ever a re-telling of an Indian folktale.
April 26th - Dr. Marci Tilghman-Bryant will be here from 12 - 2pm to discuss and sign her book No Need to Run.
WSB Book Clubs
Adults: April's selection is Mr. Penumbra's 24 Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan. The club meets Wednesday, April 16 from 2-4pm and Thursday, April 17 from 7-9pm.
YA: 5th-8th graders are invited to join us on Thursday, April 14 from 6:30-8:00pm to discuss The Lions of Little Rock by Kristin Levine.
