Eagleview Town Center goes international!
This week we’re joined by Brooklyn residents and Scunthorpe, England natives, the Ruen Brothers! Henry and Rupert Stansall were raised by a father who was very fond of the Rolling Stones and the Everly Brothers. These two bands were an influence for the duo’s modern revitalization of live country music TV, made popular in the 1960s. Their music caught the ear of legendary record producer, Rick Rubin, which led to the Def Jam Recordings founder producing the Ruen Brothers’ debut album “All My Shades of Blue” that released last month. The project was recorded entirely with live instrumentation, including accompaniment from Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers on drums and Dave Keuning of The Killers on guitar! The two brothers have seen some great success early on in their careers and this could be the year they really turn it up a notch. This is sure to be a performance you won’t want to miss! Get familiar with the Ruen Brothers’ sound with their album’s hit single and title track, “All My Shades of Blue” attached below! For even more info, head on over to Songwriting Magazine to read up on the brothers' latest interview!
