On Saturday, October 12 from 12-4pm, we will be holding RecycleFest! Looking to have a productive weekend afternoon? This event gives you that chance, all without having to leave the Town Center! Read on for updates on what recycling donations will be accepted and which charities will be supported by our event. RecycleFest's recycling program (besides paper shredding) will be handled by Goodwill as donations and will run from 12-3pm. No donations will be accepted after 3pm! Goodwill welcomes donations of new and gently-used clothing, household items and furniture.
Goodwill cannot accept or resell the following items:
- Air conditioners
- Any recalled items
- Hazardous chemicals
- Household chemicals
- Infant furniture (cribs, highchairs, car seats, strollers, etc.)
- Kerosene heaters
- Large appliances
- Large exercise equipment
- Lawn mowers
- Small Engines
Please remember - no TVs will be accepted at RecycleFest!
Kid activities will include an obstacle course, spin art, pumpkin painting, a scarecrow station and more - and will support local charities!
Charities supported by RecycleFest events include: March of Dimes, Family Lives On Foundation, Chester County Food Bank, American Red Cross, and the YMCA. Non-perishable food donations will be accepted on behalf of the Chester County Food Bank. The Brickside Grille will also have food available to purchase.
RecycleFest will feature live music on the Town Center stage from Summer Concerts on the Square favorite, Big Package from 1:30-3:30pm!
