Join us in June/July for...

shrek-jr-logo.jpg

We invite you to a live performance in Town Center of Shrek Jr. the Musical. Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek Jr., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical.  It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance.  Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek Jr. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.

Shrek Jr. is the second youth Mainstage production produced by SALT Performing Arts and the first professional all-youth production whereby the performers are all paid.  Over 100 talented young performers auditioned for the 25 slots.  The cast is made up of both SALT veterans and newbies; all young actors from Chester Springs and the surrounding suburbs of Chester County.

Located in the Eagleview Town Center park, be sure to bring blankets and chairs along with a canned good for your “ticket” in.

Performances will take place on the following dates:

 Saturday, June 30th at 2pm

Sunday, July 1st at 1pm & 4pm

Produced by Lauren McComas

Directed by Chelsea Barnett

Celia is very excited to be performing in her second show at SALT. She has been doing theatre for around six years, playing roles in The Little Mermaid, (Ursula), Footloose, (Rusty), The Cowardly Lion, (the Wizard of Oz), and many more.
